Hotel Santa Maria, previously called Albergo del Risorgimento, is the historical hotel of the town. Recently restructured and enlarged, will offer you a friendly, comfortable atmosphere. In the vicinity there is the prestigious hotelier's institute "G. Marchitelli ", the heir of the ancient tradition of the first cuisine school, founded here in 1560 by Fernando Caracciolo. For many years now in Villa Santa Maria, during the second weekend in October, the international festival of the cooks is held, three days of typical and international dishes prepared by great chefs who gather here for experience sharing and competitions.
