Hi, I am searching for information about DiDonato's, D'Angelo's, and Gentile's. My grandfather, Domenic DiDonato, was born in Manoppello 9/20/1885. He came to America (Boston) in 1900 or 1901. He brought his family over after that. Parents: Anthony DiDonato and Mary D'Angelo (DeAngelo?). Brothers: Leo, Ralph, Santi, and sister, Amelia.
They all settled in the Springfield and Agawam, MA area. Domenic DiDonato married Rose Gentile in Springfield in 1906. My grandfather was born in a village south of Lanciano, named Martelli or Martello. Our name was either Di Julio or Di Iulio. He and his brothers immigrated in the early 1900's first to Argentina and then to NY and settled in Philadelphia. One of the sisters married a Mastrangelo and the other was unmarried so there seem to be no more Di Julio's here. I would appreciate any help in traking relatives in Italy. ciao.

I am researching my wife's genealogical Italian roots. Her father is from Cansano.
