Looking for information on the families of Antonio Aucelli (or Angelli or Ancelli), married to Braca, Maria Cresceza di Giuseppi, and their daughters Nicolangela (born 22 May 1870) and Nicoline Maria Teresa (born 3 December 1872). They emigrated from Campochiaro in 1888 and settled in Manhatten, New York City. Nicolangela married Luigi Mastriano (from Avellino) in 1888 and moved to the Bronx, New York City in 1901. Nicolina Teresa married Pasquale Picciano (also from Campochiaro) in 1890 and later moved to Endicott, New York . Are there any relatives of this family still in the Campobasso area? Quirico (James) Marie. He was born in Sante Marie L'Aquila on 02/19/1992. He came to the United States on June 17, 1916. He landed in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, and began to work in a coal mine. On April 05, 1921 his wife Filomena Calderini followed him to the United States with their three children. Giuseppe Mari/Age 12, Francesco Marie/Age 10, and Olindo Marie/Age 7.
James had five or six brothers, but their names are unknown.

Help...I am looking for any information about my grandfather, born in 1887 in Onna, Aquila, Italy. He left around 1914 and return to Italy to fight in W.W.I. After the war he married Henrietta Pulucci and had a daughter Maria Annunzia Camardese, then came back to America around 1921 via Ellis island. He had a sister who was a nun...sister Maria Sarafina of the divine order of Beata Sant'Antonia, Aquila, Italy. He also had three brothers Antonio, Saverino, Elia. They all came to America. He came through via Ellis island and settled in Philadelphia. What a great site. My Great-Grandfather Beniamino D'Alessandro was born in the town of Ari, in the province of Chieti. He was born Feb. 19, 1881 and came to Philadelphia, Pa. in the year 1903. Carmine Tucci married Filomena Guardiani they had 10 children: Camilla,Eustacchio,Liberta,Lucia(my grandmother) Cesidia,Nicolette, Alfonso,Giuseppe,Dionino,Agostino.
Eustacchio Tarquinio,Maria Domenica Novella,Carmine Tucci,& Filomena Guardiani were all from & buried in Tocca Da Casauria in the Abruzzi Region.
