I can't say how much I value the site. It has obviously taken a great amount of work and inspiration - and I appreciate it a lot. I have been to Abruzzo twice to visit my father's family. They mainly reside in Filetto, Guardiagrele, Orsogna and Ari. I would love to hear from anyone from these areas.

The city of Philadelphia, PA, USA and the region of Abruzzo have entered into a partnership as of june 1997. Myself and a group of people traveled to Abruzzo to meet with the mayors and dignitaries of the region to form this historical event. We have very much in common as there are many abruzzesi who emigrated to philadelphia and it's surrounding area since the turn of the century. We are hoping to visit Abruzzo in 2000 and we invite the people of Abruzzo to visit our city. The city of Teramo is responsible for the idea for the partnership and were the first to invite us. We also want to say that we thank Teramo, Pescara, L'Aquila and Chieti for the reception we received while visiting.
