My grandparents were from Filetto (Chieti). My grandfather's name was DiBartolomeo. My grandmother's name was DiRado. Her Mother's maiden name may have been DiTullio. My grandmother had a brother, Umberto Dirado that went to Argentina after the war. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I am looking for relatives and ancestors of my great grandparents born in Genoa, Italy. My great grandfather, Giacomo Moresco came to SF, Califonia in 1888. He was born 4-9-1867. My great grandmother, Rose Calori was borna in April, 1865. Giacomo spent two years in San Francisco (Coima) and then returned to Genoa to bring my great grandmother and her first child, Mary, to America in 1890. We had a Moresco Family Reunion I organized on 9-15-2001 and I would love to know more to pass on to the family. Giacomo never learned English except for the words "apple pie" and "hot dog" and made his own wine to share with his American neighbors from England and Germany. No one could speak the other's language but they really knew how to have fun. I'd love to find any Moresco or Calori relatives and/or any info on their lives. Thanks,

My mother is Mary Jean Daniele, born in Castelnuovo, San Pio delle Camere in 1923. My father is Dominic Joseph Gasbarre, born in Johnsonburg, PA in 1921. My maternal grandparents were Pasquale Daniele and Celeste DiMarco Daniele; Paternal grandparents were Zaccaria Gasbarre and Angeladea DiNardo Gasbarre - all of whom were born a long time ago in Castelnuovo! 1890s - 1901. I was born and raised in Rochester, New York, and migrated to Ohio to pursue a law career. I am an attorney in the Cleveland area and include in my practice immigration law. Anyone looking for relatives from Castelnuovo S. Pio delle Camere who immigrated to the Rochester area should be glad to know that there are many, many Italian Americans who still have strong ties to that area, and should contact the Rochester Public Library for information on searching Italian American roots in Rochester and Western New York.

Hello, My name is Carla Cioffi. I'm trying to do locate any family members related to my father. His name was Alberto Cioffi and he was born in Messina, Sicily in 1930. His father, my grandfather, was Gennaro Cioffi from Naples, and his mother was Teresa Testa from the island of Lipari. Gennaro and Teresa had eleven children, my father Alberto was the seventh child. He immigrated to Caracas, Venezuela in the late 50's or early 60's. Three of my father's brothers also immigrated to Caracas. There names were Attilio, Antonio and Cesare Cioffi. I was born in Caracas in 1968. My father died in Caracas in 1977. Since my family went to Venezuela, as opposed to the US, it's been difficult to find information on any existing family members.
