Monday, April 05, 1999 at 07:56:08 (CDT)I am so thrilled to have found this web site. My mother and father's families are both fromthe Abruzzo region. So I know this wil come in very handy. I also was reading the comment about how alot of the abruzzese loose contact. Well that is not the case of the the town of Filetto in Chieti. I grew up in Watertown, Mass. where alot of Filettese seteled and I remember growing up to Filetto picnics and banquets. Well it did stop for a short time but now my generation has brought this tradition back.We know have a Filetto picnic in the summer and a banquet in the spring.
