Hi, my maternal grandfather came from Villetta Barrea, in L'Aquila, Abruzzo. His name was Luigi Di Cristoforo. He was born in June, 1889, to Carmen Di Christoforo and Colombia Deniverio. He came to the USA in 1906. I believe he had siblings that also came here but I don't know when. The sibling names I have are Victoria, Antonio, Lucia, Lusette. Don't know if these are correct. If anyone has any info or connection please contact. Thanks

I just happened to be searching the web and ran across the note from Maria Maggio Fisher. I married a Ramundi from Tufillo 1.5 years ago. As we have been together for 6 years, I have been to Tufillo many times. We were married there in Santa Guista (the cathedral). I also know many Iacovetti's. My husband's name is Massimo Ramundi. His grandfather (Camillo Ramundi) came to American back around 1900, but then returned to Tufillo. We have tried to do much research to determine where he arrived, where he lived, etc. Could it be that your family has a connection? I hope you get this. I see you posted your note in 2006, so this may end up in never never land, but I had to try. I am currently trying to research ay family he had here and what his grandfather did. Also, if you need any connection to people or information about Tufillo, I am happy to provide. Massimo was born and raised there. It is now a town of about 600, all of whom he knows. His dearest friend is an Iacovetti. If you get this, please contact me at my yahoo email.

My grandfather Dominic Baccaro and his brothers Nick and Carmen came from Roccomandolfi in the early 20's or late teens. My grandmother, Lucia De Andrea and her father Libertino De Andrea also came from Roccomandolfi. My great uncle Carmen returned to Italy in the 20's and I am sure some of his relatives must still be in the area. I am also interested in descendents of my maternal geat grandfather Libertino De Andrea and my grandmother Lucia De Andrea. I noticed in the info on the main page that there are 10 Baccaro's currently in the Roccamandolfi phone book and 20 De Andrea listings. I would like to communicate with any of them as I feel some have to be related. I would appreciate any help. Hope to hear from anyone with information.

Hi, I am hoping that someone can help me. I am trying to find the Sperazza family that we belong to. My mom was placed up for adoption. Yet she wasnt actually taken from her parents home until she was 3 maybe 4. She knows she has a twin brother named Ralph Sperazza. That much is listed on her birth certificate. It is also stated that her birth mother and father are Frank and Anita Sperazza. Please if anyone knows anything about the Sperazza family write me at my email. I will appreciate anything anyone can tell me so much.

Hi, I am looking for Tecla Ferraro who lived in Naples Italy. I know she lived there between 1941 to 1943 but Wilhem lost contact with her after that. I was named for her. I have her photographs.

I'm researching information for the Pasquarelli family from S Martino, Benevento.
My great grandfather, Pasquale Pasquarelli came to NY 1907 and 1910 and settled in Poughkeepsie. He was a shoemaker. His wife, Maria Giovanna Tretola came in 1912 with her two sons, Raffaele(age 6)who was my grandfather and Armando (age 3). According to the Ellis Island records they were from S. Giorgiola, Italy. The passenger lists show S. Martino.
I would be interested in hearing from anyone who may have information. Thanks
