I am looking for any information on Faccone or Stinziani families from the Morrone nel Sannio region of Italy. My father, Pasquale, his sister, Maria, and brother Giuseppe, immigrated to the US in 1912 with their mother, Maria Stinziani Faccone. My grandfather, Giuseppantonio had already died, either in the US or Italy and my grandmother and her children traveled through Ellis Island to Seattle, Washington where she married her former brother-in-law, Giuseppe Colasurdo, whose wife (my grandma's sister) had died in childbirth. I would appreciate any information anyone may have available. Grazie.

I am looking for relatives of my great grandfather and great grandmother. My great-grandfather was Luigi Carano of Carovilla, Italy born in 1879. He emigrated to the United States in 1905 aboard the SS Cretic with his wife Aldina. I don't know my greatgrandmother's maiden name. Luigi changed his name to Louis Dominic Crano and moved to Akron, Ohio. Any information would be appreciated.

My Name is Sharon Distefano. My Grandfather John Di Stefano came to Philadelphia to live with his mother Teresa Romano and brothers Pete and Frank around 1916 at the age of 12. His father, Carmine, may have died before the family came to Philadelphia. My grandfather talked about living with a lawyer and his family in Italy before he joined his mother in Philadelphia. They may have been from Cupello. So far I have not found a document that lists my grandfather's town but Cupello is listed on a document for Frank. My grandparents, father and uncle have been deceased for many years and we have no one to ask.I would like to apply for dual citizenship. Does anyone have advice or info. Any Romano's or Di Stefano's in that region I would love to hear from you. Grazie! Sharon

Hi, I am one of five children to my parents Francesco Giovannucci and Concetta ( Tirabassi ) Giovannucci. Mum passed away nearly five years ago and dad is now in a nursing home. My two older sibblings were born in Sulmona, the other three including me were born here in Australia.
I travelled to Sulmona with mum before she passed to see where and how she grew up and to meet some of the relatives, we had a great time, I wish we could be back their now. Dad has only bad memories of his youth and not interested in the past, except his war stories, otherwise I don't know much about his side of the family.
On dads side, my grandfather-nonno was Domenico Giovannucci and nonna was Bambina Giovannucci, I think she was the cause of my fathers pain from what I understood when I spoke to the oldest relies.
Mum really held our family together, since she passed away we don't talk. Too many disagreements on how best to look after pop. Ironic that it's possible to talk to distant relatives on the other side of the world, but not my immediate ones.
I would really love to here from any Giovannucci's or Tirabassi's that may be related. Dad tells me we also have relies in the U.S.A, New York, Phili' and Chicago.
Looking forward to hearing from anyone, Ciao Maurizio Giovannucci

My name is Darlene Spino, I am a granddaughter of Nicolina Cappella and Angelo DiGiovanni from Mirabella Santico, Campobasso. I have been trying to find any relatives from either one of them who did not come to the United States. My grandfather had 5 brothers- 3 of them settled in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - John (mary) , Paul (married Angelina Cappella), Florindo (married josephine Verdone) and one brother Michael settled in Ontario, Canada. We lost touch with Uncle Michael's family in the late 60's. Does anyone recognize any of these family names. Please contact me if you have any information. Thank you
