I am travelling to Italy this July and am interested in finding any relatives in the Poggio Picenze area. My great grandpa was Pasquali Sciotti (born in 1833 Comune di Barisciano) and he married Matilda Friscione (spelling?). Their daughter, Angelina Sciotti is my grandmother. I think there must be some relatives still in Poggio Picenze and perhaps in other places in Italy. I would love to hear from anyone with any information.

My great-grandmother, Theresa DiNardi, was from Pizzoferrato. I have very little information, except that she resided in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA,;she died in Pittsburgh, PA, USA. She had two daughters (USA born) named Louise (Lisa), and Laura. I do not even know my great-grandfather's name. Somewhere I heard Giovassio, but I cannot be sure. Anyone with any information?

My name is MaryAnne Gardner. My maiden name was Corbino. My father, Joseph Corbino was born in Vittorio, Sicily and came to American around 1914 with his mother Josephine and father John Corbino and I am wondering if there are any relatives that still live there.
My mother's maiden name was DiBenedetto. Her father was named Pontaleon and he and his wife, Maria Nagel Battaglia came from Pescara, Italy in the early 1900's. Pontaleon had 2 brothers who came to the US first, one was named Anthony who resided in Hartford, CT and the other brother resided in the Southington, CT area. I was told, in the past, that there are still relatives living there.
I have been trying to do genelogy searches but have not been able to get any more information.
