My husband's father, Domenico Micaletti was born in 1887 in Teramo Province, Castelbasso area. We would love to visit the area next Spring to see if any family still reside in the area. The Micaletti/Rocci family owned a general store. Any information would be appreciated. I'd also like to say a word to Camellia DeLellis, from Virginia. My Mother was Edna DeLellis, grandaughter of Camillo DeLellis. My cousins have researched my great grandfather and found that he was actually a foundling and was named after St Camillus DeLellis. Naming foundlings after Saints, we are told, was a common practice in Italy in the 1800's. He was adopted by the Cavelli family, according to church records, but generally, the adoptive families did not change the foundling's given name, so he remained DeLellis.

My parents were born in Pacentro. My father was Carmine Marchionda, born 1921, married my mother, Maria Del Russo. She was born 1931; they were married in Italy, Jan 3, 1948. I’m looking to see if anyone knows of my paternal grandfather, Pasquele Marchionda, who moved to Venezuela around 1953-1955. Not really sure the of correct dates. I was told he remarried and was wandering if he had another family.

My grandmother, Colomba D'Andrea was born in Abruzzo, maybe Alfedena around 1890 and migrated to the USA around 1910 to Patterson, New Jersey and then to Detroit. She married Salvatore Perotti, aka Berotti, aka Perrotti. Any information on her in Alfedena or Abruzzo? Thank you,
