Sat, Jul 2, 2011I am visiting Italy in December and would like to research my ancesteral home. My grandfather, Salvatore Alberico was from Chieti and married Josephine Orsini. Salvatore came to America when he was 15 years old. He enlisted in the army on August 8, 1918. Josephine called "Pepina" (spelling?) had three siblings, Agnes, John and Rafaela. Her father was Dominico Orsini. They lived in Pescara. Josephine was born Feb. 29, 1889 and came to the US when she was 28 years old. She worked in the bath houses??? This is the extent of the family history I have so far. Can anyone help? I would love to visit family, if still in area, or simply research more once in the village.
