Hi, I just came across this site, and thought I would see if anyone is from, or familiar with, Rocchetta al Volturno, Provincia Isernia, Italy. Our family is from there. It's a great town that is on the border of Abrruzzo and Molise, not far from Venafro, Scapoli, Castel di Sangro, and Campobasso...If it rings a bell, please let me know. I'm researching Vittoriano Evangelista born 7/5/1938 in Celano. His parents may have been John Milano Evangelista and Angela. Siblings Anthony, Patricia and Gonna? He came to America and became a citizen but eventually returned to Italy where he died 28/6/2003 in Avezzano. His wife may have been Micco Mafalda. I have the "certificato di morte" but it does not give the cause of death which I would like to know. Also any help on his birth and grandparents would be gratefully received.
