Two women before the judge after denouncing each other for aggression. A few days after her husband's death, the unsuspecting widow finds, desperately crying on her late husband's tomb, an unknown woman. When she realized she had meen cheated fos long years, she attacked her rival violently.

A parade in honor of the saint who is the patron of all animals, since, according to the tradition, he saved them from a fierce plague. On this day animals are solemnly blessed. Writer Dacia Maraini, honorary citizen, was there too with her camera.

IL CENTRO - - Popoli - St. Anthony's Fire Festival / Rinnovata la festa del fuoco
Yesterday before the church of Madonna delle Grazie the ancestral rite of the blessing of fire and animals was re-enacted. A huge wood heap was lit at dusk, and after Mass Don Ugo Di Donato blessed the fire and animals that had been taken along: cats, dogs, turtles, parrots. Then everybody took home a piece of burned wood as a protection against thunderstorms.
