The trade unions suggest: Monday: coffee and biscuits, pasta e fagioli, mortadella, salad and fruit for lunch; vegetable soup, cheese and omelette for dinner. Tuesday: spaghetti with tuna sauce, fish fingers, salad and fruit, Evening tagliolini with peas, chicken, vegetables and fruit. Wednesday: pasta and potatoes, hamburgers with peas; dinner: spaghetti oil and garlic, one toast, fruit. Thursday: gnocchi with tomato sauce, mozzarella and mortadella; evening: rice with vegetables, sausages with potatoes. Friday: only anchovies for dinner. Saturday: home made pizza. Sunday: ravioli with ricotta, pork chops; evening: chicken with potatoes. Bread, wine and oil optionals, total expense for a family of four 891.000 lire a month.
