Agostino Di Scipio's complex musical theater work "Sound & Fury", based on a multi-textual montage of Shakespeare's "the Tempest" had its premiere in Portugal with great success of public and criticism.

MESSAGGERO - From Fucino the best potatoes / Dal Fucino le patate migliori, by Jole Mariani
Cicero, agata, marabel, bolesta are the best four potato types grown in the former lake basin, which the local agricultural authority want to launch as a "doc" (Denominazione Origine Controllata, a quality standard given to the best wines and other produce). Fucino potatoes are appreciated all over the world, as the Alto Adige apples. The cicero is perfect for gnocchi and mashed potatoes, the agata and marabel for salads and soups, the bolesta fried and baked.

IL CENTRO - - Pescara - 7 new rooms in the Museo delle Genti d'Abruzzo / Museo delle Genti - Aprono 7 nuove sale, by Cindy Virgili
Next june seven new rooms, and a very precious 18th century Scanno costume. The new rooms will tell the story of the household of rural Abruzzo. Three more rooms will be ready in autumn with urban social life in the mid-19th century. Director Ermanno De Pompeis is proud of the growing success of the museum, open 9 - 13 every day.

IL CENTRO - - Penne - Nonna's cuisine / La cucina della nonna
For San Valentino (14 february), association Auser from Penne will organize the traditional «Cucina della Nonna» festival, with music and a buffet in honor of couples celebrating their golden anniversaries. Each grandmother will take her «special» dish. Grandmothers are the last custodians of a great tradition based on genuine and poor ingredients.
