Foglietta's enthusiasm / L'ambasciatore Usa entusiasta
L'Aquila is so beautiful. A visit to my ancestral places was such an emotion. Foglietta visited in the Townhall the chamber where the original Perdonanza Bull is kept then promised he will be back soon. Born in Filadelfia 72 years ago, he was a laywer, then City counsellor, until in 1980 he was elected to Congress.

The title of "Città d'Arte" awarded to penne and Città Sant'Angelo / L'ambito riconoscimento della Regione a Penne e Cittą Sant'Angeloby Paolo Antonilli - Ercole D'Alessandro
The much appreciated award included the two towns of the province in the number of the other Città d'arte in Abruzzo: Caporciano, Chieti, Francavilla al Mare, Guardiagrele, L'Aquila, Monteodorisio, Sulmona and Tagliacozzo. The award listed in Penne 30 buildings of high artistic value as well as the precious municipality archive, then mentioned the many exhibitions and events organized, such as the "Giostra dei sei rioni", the "Mostra di artigianato", and literary Prize "Cittą di Penne". Città Sant'Angelo received the award for the wonderfully preserved historical centre.
