Phil Melillo left his native New Jersey and then greater teams in Italy to start a fascinating basketball adventure in Roseto. "The people here have enthusiasm, players and coach respect each other - after 5 consecutive matches lost the fans encouraged me to stay - People come to the training sessions, which they love too". And the dream of the First Division is getting nearer.

On the plane nonna Gentilina, whose son Sandro teaches English literature at Binghamton University, New York, will recite her rosary. Ten years ago on another flight she suffered from air-sickness. Five years ago Kenneth, her only great grandchild, was born and so now she decided to leave again and was away from her Tocco four months. She knows a little Emglish, Kenneth does not speak Italian, and they went together to baseball and icehockey events. "I like American life, young people are generous, but going to church is a long trip - What I deplore is that Italians do not teach thir language to the children".
