Vasto - Terrible minors throw oranges for Carnival / Minori terribili gettano arance

During the otherwise successful Carnival parade, two boys launched oranges on the crowd from a height of 20 mt. Two people were taken to hospital. Twelve parishes and associations took part to with their waggons: the most beatiful that made by the parish of the Immacolata.

Sulmona - Pilgrims to the Holy Land are back / I pellegrini peligni dopo il viaggio in Terra Santa
300 pilgrims from Sulmona and Valva tell of their wonderful experience. "We have been in the heart of three religions - says Maria Luisa De Matteis - and Palestine is much like 2000 years ago. The itinerary proceeded from the house of young Mary to the Lake of Tiberiade, Mount Golgota, Getsemani, the Holy Sepulchre. And at the entrance of Bethlehem Franco Iezzi's fine sculpture."

Sant'Egidio - Competition among Carnival waggons / Carnevale, carri delle contrade in gara
For the 13th Carnevale santegidiese, waggons for the eight contrade: Paolantonio, Villa Marchesa, Villa Pazzo, Villa Mattoni, Faraone, Centro, Ponte and Madonna delle Grazie. From 15 to 19 in piazza Umberto the Red Cross makeup artists will teach how to reproduce fake wounds and injuries.
