MESSAGGERO - Rocca San Giovanni - Invitation to all emigrants / Quattro giornate per gli emigranti
Association Tre Torri, president Ulderico Di Tola, have shipped an invitation to return to all emigrants for next 17 to 20 August, four days of festival, folk and cultural events. All roccolani in the world are expexted to come back.

IL CENTRO - - Pacentro - No Caldora remains in the sepulchre / Il sepolcro Cantelmo non contiene i resti di Caldora
In 1412 Rita Cantelmo, mother to Jacopo, Raimondo and Restaino Caldora, made a sepulchre for her family inside the Abbey of Santo Spirito, inhabited by Celestine friars till Napoleon abolished the order. A medical team using endoscopic techniques found it empty however, and scientific observation shows no human bodies were ever placed there. But below the sepulchre there is a cave where bones can be seen. Though no certainty over the identity of the remains can ever be reached, explorations will continue.

Hotels will be full this Easter with tourists attracted by the Holy Week events. Germano Fulgenzi, a hotelier in via degli Agghiacciati, says this is a poor tourism, of people who stay only the night and go skiing or trekking by day - and there are no amusements for young people.
