MESSAGGERO - 80th birthday for Riccardo Cerulli / Gli 80 anni di Riccardo Cerulli , by Pasquale Limoncelli - historian and art gallery owner
Riccardo Cerulli was born in a family that cared for their land and the underprivileged. He fought against Fascism and on 8 sept 1943 organized the resistance brigade in Bosco Martese. After 1945 he was the mayor of Giulianova and strived to help the poorest. For years he studied and published essays on events and figures of the province, such as "Giulianova 1860" and "Storia illustrata di Teramo". An open and free spirit to whom our best wishes must go.

MESSAGGERO - Marco, from Roma to Pescasseroli / Marco, da Roma a Pescasseroli
Marco is stout and hairy, 26 years old, for 25 a guest of the zoo in Rome. Within the general restructuring of the Roman zoo Marco has now been reintroduced in a natural environment. European bears live 25-35 years, therefore Marco is well advanced in years. The 100 brown bears of the park are in serious danger of extinction.

IL CENTRO - A fabulous movie collection purchased by "La Lanterna Magica" / Oltre 700 film dalla Fenice di Roma, by Antonio Di Muzio
L'Aquila and Abruzzo have now a first-class movie library, purchased from La Fenice cinema company in Rome: over 700 16-mm and 35mm movies by Ejzenstein, Kurosawa, Pasolini, Bergman, Fellini, Chabrol, Antonioni, Wenders. Also some unique silent-movies by Luis Bunuel and a very rare 16mm Space Odyssey.
