MESSAGGERO - Castelli - ceramics capital / la capitale della ceramica , by Franco D'Ignazio
A one-day meeting on "Progetto Castelli: territorio, arte, economia, turismo e formazione" as a blueprint for the future. Mayor Domenico Verdone says the safeguard of traditions is a prerequisite to any future development. Castelli will become a museum-town with an art school and ceramics lab, also connected with the University of Engineering in l'Aquila, to establish a research center on ceramics technology and scientific restoration.

MESSAGGERO - A clone for the warrior / Il Guerriero trova un sosia
A special resin clone for the Capestrano Warrior (700 kg) has been made with laser technologies and is much slighter (70 kg) by a company which is also cloning the Riace bronze statues and the Ercole Farnese. A painter is now applying ageing to the clone. From 27 march to 2 april all Italian museums will be open to the public and entrance free, then from 2 to 9 april a second local week will offer free guided tours to museums and archeological sites in Abruzzo.

IL CENTRO - - Barrea - Money on the lake / Pioggia di fondi sul lago , by Cristina Notarantonio
Province authorities and the three mayors Geremia Cianchetti from Villetta Barrea, Giancarlo Massimi from Civitella Alfedena and Franco Di Paolo from Barrea signed a project for a 6 km biking track, parking and picnic areas and tracking routes around the lake.

IL CENTRO - - Atri - An exhibition on Lourdes pilgrims / Mostra sui pellegrini di Lourdes
«Lourdes - Volti ed anime», a photo exhibition by Riccardo Guglielmin with black and white pictures taken during six different visits to Lourdes between 1987 and 1993 will be opened tomorrow by Gianfranco Arciero, professor of photo journalism at Rome Luiss university.
