Rapino - The procession of the "verginelle" is repeated / Si rinnova la processione delle vergini
On 8 May for 200 years now the celebration is repeated to honor the Madonna of Carpineto, who saved the population from drought. Children, boys and girls, dressed and angels, and maids in pink and azure tunics wearing beautiful real jewels proceed to the sanctuary outside the village. This year also an exhibition on the historical jewels in poor gold.
