Paraguay, mostly forgotten but abundant in raw materials, labour, energy, will receive help and cooperation from a number of Abruzzese associations and firms. Darìo Lopez, from the Casa de la juventud, Asunciòn, was in Pescara for the first contacts. The project aims at introducing marketing techniques and professional education.

From 10 to 12 june the feast of patron saint Zopito Martire will be repeated, as it has been for over 300 years. In 1710 a group of people, reading Zopitus on a tomb thought it was a name. The parade is very peculiar: an ox, ridden by a child holding a carnation. The tradition says an ox knelt before the remains of the saint, in the fields of the Parlione family.

A parade with five allegorical waggons for the 45th edition of the Sagra delle ciliegie, with children in between dressed in raianese traditional costumes.- Big, abundant and cheap cherries this year. Also an exhibition of arts and crafts.
