Historian Nicolini used to say: «Wherever you ask the soil, you'll find signs of the ancient splendor». Another piece of Roman roads emerged yesterday during sewage works. The Via Valeria was the central axis of Roman Teate towards the Adriatic. If no funds arrive, the road will be interred again.

In the castles many fine exhibitions on show: in Cepagatti, the Rassegna nazionale di arti visive «Memoria e progetto». In castello Gizzi, Torre de' Passeri the Casa di Dante and pinacoteque. Then castle De Petris-Fraggiani, in Castiglione a Casauria dating back to the 10th century, castle Genua di Salle with its Museo Civico, the Castle of Elice, 13th century, and the Alex Tower, Cepagatti, 3rd century A.D.

The feast of the Santissimo Crocifisso di Musellaro, dating back to 1187, lasted five days this year. Last Sunday there was the emigrant's feast (most inhabitants moved abroad). On Monday the relic was on show, yesterday the procession and musical band «Cittą di Salerno». Today band «Cittą di Lettomanoppello» will accompany the crucifix back to its shrine, and in the evening Fausto Leali will close the festival.
