Roberto Grillo, "master of black and white photography" surprised everyone with his new exhibition "Paesi del Gran Sasso-Monti della
Laga, luci, volti, pietre - Dissonanze fotografiche" (on show at the Spanish Fortress until 20 October). 45 images of pure poetry of the Gran Sasso and its inhabitants.

Pescasseroli - A TV spot for British mozzarella / Per le mozzarelle inglesi
spot girato nel Parco, by Sonia Paglia
A tv spot for "Sainsbury's" mozzarelle filmed here. An English cook is the sponsor of these product made with milk from Italian bufala. The spot features a farmer's wife roasting mozzarelle and home made bread, two friends angling in the Sangro river. The 90 peoples of the TV crew enjoyed also horseback riding in the park.

Spoltore - The good miss / La signorina buona
Linda Ronca, 93, comes back every year to visit her former students of 50 years ago. Born in Città Sant'Angelo in 1907, she started teaching in Spoltore on 1934 and stayed until 1948. The annual meeting is a heart-felt tribute to a lady who gave her life to education and the poor. She still donates part of her pension to the less-privileged, and supported a young boy who was abandoned by his family.
