Capistrello - Giustino Giordani dies at 94. Morto il minatore che non ha mai visto i figli, by Jole Mariani
A former miner blind since he was 24 after an accident in a tunnel, Giustino Giordani, father of the present mayor of Capistrello, died at 94 after 70 years in the darkness. He was the first of the many victims of workers in the mines. But he married his girlfriend and they had a beautiful family, and engaged in poetry and music.
