MESSAGGERO - Villetta Barrea - Serena bear goes crazy for apples / L’orsa Serena è golosa di mele
Every night female bear Serena visits the orchards of the village to make provisions for the winter negli orti di Villetta Barrea. And in Opi too another bear visits the center. Being protected for 75 years now, bears are no more afraid of man in the Park.

PNA Director Franco Tassi received an award from New York State Governor, George E. Pataki, for his engagement in the defence of natural resources. The Parco d'Abruzzo has established a cooperation with the Adirondack Park.
