Pescara - A wonderful crib / Presepe artistico napoletano
In San Cetteo's a crib in cork created by Sabato Crispano, taking inspiration from the Neapolitan tradition of the 18th century. seven metres long, the crib features 7-inch-tall shepherds and is divided into two sections: Mistero (with Maria, Joseph, the Child and the descending angels) and the Diversorio with the Inn, Market and Announcement to the shepherds. In a mountain landscape over 100 characters have enchanted the thousnds of visitors.

Castel del Monte - 3,000-year-old hamlet discovered / Un villaggio di 3000 anni fa
A lecture by prof. Vincenzo D'Ercole introduced the discoveries made in the Colle della Battaglia, where an Italic village was recently discovered. The hamlet was surrounded by three circles of defensive ditches and by 8-ft-thick walls where two doors opened: a carraia (for the waggons) and a posterula door for the people.
