The project of the "Costa dei Trabocchi" will start this 2nd March with the inauguration of an environmental center in Vallevò, Rocca San Giovanni. The other municipalities involved in the project are San Vito, Treglio, Fossacesia and Torino di Sangro. The Mediterranean flora, the birchwood of Torino di Sangro, the
Vallevò pinewood, the wonderful natural pathwaysand the trabocchi will be the features of the new protected area.

Francesco Sabatini, 70, native of Pescocostanzo, has been President of the Accademia della Crusca for twelve months now. The Academy was established in 1583 to safeguard the Italian language. Francesco Sabatini is a Professor of History of the Italian Language in Rome. Today he will be for a congress in Pescara.
