Next spring at palazzo D'Avalos a modern art exhibition will be inaugurated, and the great Palizzi exhibition continued, possibly as a permanent art show. There is also an ambitious project to host the works of Dante Gabriel Rossetti, whose father was from Vasto.

IL CENTRO - - Città Sant'Angelo - Ndiruccio is back / Torna la saga di Ndiruccio
Carnival here is a kind of palio among the contrade: Casale, Corso, D'Annunzio, Vrilla, Piano della Cona, Madonna della Pace, Villa Cipressi. But the protagonist will be, as always, NDiruccio, a character invented in the early 20th century by Antero De Tollis, who will perform the "ttavett", satirical rhymes on the events of the town.

Library director Sandro Galantini has edited a new edition of Vincenzo Bindi's "Illustri giuliesi, brevi e sommarie notizie da servire per la denominazione delle vie e piazze della città", first published in 1925, and rich of information on the history on the great characters of Giulianova.

Great article on the life and mission of Pasquale Litterio, a neurologist doctor in the hospital of Vasto, and, every year and a half, voluntary first aid physician in Ruanda, Zaire, Ciad, among refugees and war victims, risking his life and health «Ho fatto quello che mi sentivo di fare: perché in Africa l'unica cosa che conta è esserci, aldilà del ruolo che si ricopre».
