MESSAGGERO - Raiano - Cherry parade ready / Ciliegie, i carri pronti

46th edition of the cherry festival this Saturday and Sunday. The festival was first organized by writer Ottaviano Giannangeli soon after WW2. On this occasion, along with the traditional allegorical wagons, also an exhibition on artist Alfredo Galileo Postiglione, and on Sunday the choirs of Tollo and Raiano.

MESSAGGERO - Sulmona - New book on brigandage / Libro sul brigantaggio

In the cloister of Santa Chiara, Sulmona, anthropologist Franco Cercone will present the new book: "Il brigantaggio nell'Abruzzo peligno e nell'alto Sangro", by Colonel Torres on the military events and trials of the brigands after the unity of Italy.
