Special emphasis on such Abruzzese products as honey, oil, bread, wine, cheese and vegetables.

L'Aquila - The Dalai Lama and the late Archbishop / Il Dalai Lama e lo ”sgarbo” di Peressin
Seven years ago Dalai Lama, Tenzin Ghiatso, awarded the Nobel Peace prize in 1989, visited Abruzzo and was refused by late Monsignor Peressin permission to pray at the tomb of San Pietro Celestino. Monsignor Molinari, the present archbishop of L'Aquila, says that in case the Dalai Lama returns, he will pray together with him on the tomb of the "Papa della Pace".
Year 2001
