MESSAGGERO - San Vito Chietino - A law for the trabocchi / Una legge per i trabocchi, by Sergio Mussolin
A bill was proposed to help restore these ancient fishermen's cabins so typical of Abruzzo. Nobody knows exactly how many they are, but in the past they were the main source of survival for families. Urgent help is needed to protect these remnants of abruzzo history from the erosion of the sea.

Sulmona is ready to plunge again into the Middle Ages with the celebrated Giostra Cavalleresca from 22 to 29 July, with its seven borghi and sestrieri, captains in armor, horses and duels. Then from 2 to 5 august European teams (Bruxelles, Burghausen, Trondheim, Ordo Ignis, Ommegang, Cesky Krumlov and Sulmona) will fight for the Palio.

IL CENTRO - - L'Aquila - Totani family reunion / Rimpatriata della famiglia Totani
Over 100 Totani members will meet this evening at Roio for a dinner and other memorable events. The first Totani was recorded in Aquila in 1650. The organizers of the reunion have reconstructed the whole descendancy in Italy. In future years they will start the research in other continents.
