MESSAGGERO - Lanciano - Roman temple under a building / Un tesoro sotto le macerie, by Walter Berghella

On 25 june a gap opened under a small building. Among the ruins a portal of the 10th century, underground tunnels, a wide cave. It is possible an ancient temple of Apollo was on the site. Excavations and research will begin as soon as funds are raised.

IL CENTRO - - L'Aquila - Amiternum music festival / Teatro e musica al festival di Amiternum

In the Roman Amphitheater of Amiternum sixth edition of the festival. In program from 29 to 31 july performances and concerts, accompanied by booths featuring Abruzzese food specialties and wines typical of the Parco nazionale Gran Sasso-Laga.
