Lanciano - Montenegro al Mastrogiurato
George Radovic, a minister from the Republic of Montenegro, will attend the 20th edition of the Mastrogiurato re-enactement. In the past Lanciano had important trade relations with the other side of the Adriatic. This 26 august the medieval week starts with many events, to finish on 2 september with the Mastrogiurato celebration.

New York - A Pescarese teacher in the Bronx / Pescarese chiamato al Bronx per insegnare
Roberto Vergine, born in Villa Santa Maria and a resident of Pescara, tried to find work in the Bronx district, New York, N.Y. But he gave up immediately his position as Maths teacher . He tried a junior high school first, then a public grammar school: metal detector to enter, 700 USD rent, 25,000 Usd a year.
