MESSAGGERO - Sulmona - Young researcher from Sulmona in Pittsburgh - Vola in Usa l’elicottero di Marco, by Sante Iavarone
Marco La Civita, 30, a mechanical engineer from Sulmona, is working on the control system of his "Autonomous Helicopter", built by Carnegie Mellon, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, financed by Nasa. Marco is working on a Gps control system using satellites. Marco graduated at University La Sapienza, Rome, and was called by the University of Pittsburgh even before he discussed his thesis.

IL CENTRO - - Torre de' Passeri - Exhibition on Giotto e Dante / Mostra al Castello Gizzi su Giotto e Dante, by Jolanda Ferrara
The Casa di Dante in Abruzzo-Museo Iconografico Dantesco devoted their yearly painting exhibition, from 16 october to 30 november, to Giotto and Dante. In the Castello Gizzi a reconstruction of the Cappella degli Scrovegni from Padua, with the reproduction of the greatest European fresco cycle from the 14th century. Painter Giotto and poet Dante exchanged ideas on the salvation of man, their common theme. The Casa di Dante has organized in the last 20 years exhibitions on Blake, Flaxman, Dante Gabriel Rossetti, Botticelli, Raphael, Michel Angelo. Opening times 9-12, 15-18, closed Monday.

IL CENTRO - - Atri - Concert of Ian Paice, legendary Deep Purple drummer / Concerto del batterista dei Deep Purple
Next Sunday 28 october a seminary and concert with Ian Paice, the legendary drummer of the Deep Purple, Whitesnake and Gary More), in the beautiful 19thcentury theater in Atri. The event is organized by Associazione Progetto Musica 2000, which last February also organized a concert with Carl Palmer.
