MESSAGGERO -
Padre Celestino Di Giovambattista, 67, born in Massa d’Albe, missionary for 30 years, was killed at Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso. A convict in the prison where Father Celestino was giving assistance, killed him with axe blows. He was a parish priest in San Camillo, Roma, then in Bucchianico, and finally a missionary to one of the poorest lands on earth. There he succeeded in building a small hospital and water wells. Another among his ten brothers and sisters is also a priest in Seveso, Milan, where he works in a hospice for the homeless.

Documents include songs, stories, proverbs transmitted by word of mouth, expressions of popular experience connected to birth, work, marriage, religion, death.
