New CD of Abruzzese music / Ristampato il disco dalla Ird, by Antonio Ranalli
A U.S. company published a reprint of Abruzzese folk songs recorded in 1954 by Alan Lomax. The CD was published by Rounder Records, Massachusetts, under the title «Italian Treasury: Abruzzo». The CD has been also available in Italy since 6 september. It includes 25 songs, recorded in Terranera, Santo Stefano di Sessanio, Scanno, Aielli, Castel del Monte. The accompanying booklet contains all the lyrics in dialect.
