28 October/ottobre 2001 MESSAGGERO - A giant statue of the Madonna della Neve was placed last 8 september on top of Monte Rotondo, 1930 mt a.s.l., in Rocca di Cambio. The Pope came by copter and blessed the statue, but the visit was kept secret, and only recently disclosed to Aldo Iacovitti, donor of the statue. The Pope, a great skier, always loved Campo Felice, and many times came anonimous in the past. 28 October/ottobre 2001 IL CENTRO - - Pescara - Novelist Gore Vidal meets the students / Il romanziere faccia a faccia con gli studenti, by Giuliano Di Tanna Vidal replies to the students' questions, speaks of the war, of Bush inability to cope with Islam.
