Manoppello - Emotion at Marcinelle / L'emozione nel luogo della tragedia
Municipality counsellor Giovanni Terreri tells about his trip to Marcinelle for the sister city program, when he descended into the tragical Boi du Cazier, where in 1956 the mine claimed 132 victims. On the spot a museum will be built. The twinship program will also include Follonica (Italy), Hirson, Sant Junien and Selestat (France), Schraberg and Waldkirch (Germany), Pittsburg (USA), Himeji (Japan) and Donedsch (Ukraine).
