The “Dono” is one of the most interesting and ancient traditions in Lanciano. From all the "contrade", in honor of the Madonna del Ponte, the patron of the town,groups of men with their farm tools and women carrying on their heads the abruzzese "concas" full of wheat and land products come to the sanctuary.

La manifestazione del "Dono" è senza dubbio una delle più legate alla tradizione. Da tutte le contrade , in onore della Madonna del Ponte, patrona della Città, arrivano compagnie di uomini, con gli attrezzi per il lavoro dei campi, e donne con in testa le caratteristiche conche abruzzesi, colme di grano e altre primizie.
