MESSAGGERO - Ten buses today in Rome for monsignor Antonini / Oggi a Roma dieci pullman per monsignor Antonini by Federica Farda

Monsignor Orlando Antonini, originary of Villa Sant’Angelo, will be consecrated as bishop this afternoon at 17 hours in Rome by Vatican Secretary of State Angelo Sodano, with the assistance of Molinari, Archbishop of L'Aquila. Monsignor Antonini has worked for the Vatican in Zambia and Malawi.

In 1992 Sante Corazzini, in the dressing room of Popoli stadium, killed an 84-year-old man hitting him to defend himself against the latter's sexual advances. He confessed and was sentenced to six years. The request for a grace was grounded on the special circumstances of the crime and Corazzini's bad health.

80 thousand kg sugar stolen at Sadam Abruzzo for about 200 million lire. 50 kg packets were ready for delivery. The thieves worked all night to load their two trucks. The sugar will be sure shortly on sale, hopefully at lower price, in supermarkets.

A poll by il Centro revealed thet 9 out 0f 10 citizens say no to the project. An exhibition in Piazza Salotto will explain all details. The church will be built, since also the Bishopry is favourable. After all, the land donation by Ms De Cecco to the municipality is valid only to build a church, otherwise she'll take it back.
