Ecological Tour tomorrow into the woods of the «Madonna Fore» / Naturalisti: Domani visita guidata ai boschi della «Madonna Fore»
Association Umana Dimora is organizing meetings and tours to get residents to know their territory. Prof. Fernando Tammaro of the University of L'Aquila will guide tomorrow the group through century-old oaktrees in San Giuliano's woods towards Madonna Fore to celebrate San Francis' feast.

Sambuceto - Vintage cars in p.zza San Rocco / Auto d'epoca in passerella a piazza S.Rocco
The «Raduno auto d'epoca» organized by Club Pescara Corse Veteran Car will take place tomorrow. In the morning a drive from Sambuceto to Dragonara to let people admire the vehicles and in the afternoon an ability test.

Today the first of the four days' celebrations for the Madonna di Costantinopoli, Sant'Emidio, San Nicola and San Rocco. As always, religious processions and bands. Two new features: the blessing of the paintings, baskets, copper pots, palm twigs and «maitilli» in honor of San Rocco and a Harley Davidson Parade. The whole program on line.

Roseto - 500-year-old olive tree endagered / Ulivo a rischio - E' vecchio di 500 anni
The majestic tree along the Adriatica road (Statale 16) between Roseto and Cologna Spiaggia has noot been cared for since many years ago. The branches need cutting, the residents are worried the tree might die. 7 metres high, 11 metres the foliage circumference, 6 metres the trunk diameter, the olive tree is also a historical monument: many youths hid inside it to escape from the Nazis
