Celebration in Paganica for the Peace Bell / Festeggiata a Paganica la Campana della Pace
6 to 13 year-old students in Paganica made a "girotondo" with Albanese fellow students around the bell obtained from 20 kg of bullets from the war in Albania. The bell is touring Italian towns, and will toll in Tirana on 1 january 2000 to announce a Third millennium of peace.

Dialect Theatre - In honor of Raffaele Fraticelli an actress from the States / Un omaggio a Raffaele Fraticelli con un’attrice venuta dagli States
On Saturday at the Marrucino "Carmenelle de lu vento", a story of violence but also of the value of life by dialect poet Raffaele Fraticelli with Luisa Marino in the main role. Luisa has founded in Boston the Italian Theatre Center of New England where this play by Fraticelli was a great success.

Students' exchange between Toronto and Celano - The aims of the project /
Interscambio di studenti tra Toronto e Celano - Missione in Canada, ecco le finalità, by Domenico Ranieri
A delegation of 30 people from Celano, led by mayor Italo Taccone, is leaving for a seven-day-tour in Canada and the USA to establish a projects for cultural exchange between students from Celano and American and Canadian students descendants of Italians. Also a project to welcome all the pilgrims to the Jubilee who want to stop at Celano.

The Fifth Edition of Fierabilandia will be inaugurated tomorrow. One of the most popular features the Palafiabe where actors will enact the most beautiful fables from all times, from Cinderella to Robin Hood to Popeye. Also a fun-fair and Palacinema with non-stop cartoons. Then the exhibition of toys, clothes and books targeted to the youngest.
