Giuseppe Ricci, 70-year-old ematologist from pescara, for three months every year goes to Mozambico. Since 1997, after a pilgrimage to Fatima, he felt he just had to do that, after a successful career. His first patients there: 170
children who had never seen a doctor in their lives. Another doctor, Carlo D'Angelo, a geriatric specialist, for six years now spends his vacations in Albania. He sometimes in his technologic hospital in Italy wonders about the justice of using so many resources just to lengthen the life of an eighty-year-old while in Albania they are needed for a child to survive.
