The oldest person in Fara and Abruzzo, one of the oldest in Italy, Teresa Rotunno was born on 2 november 1894, was 21 years old when WWI broke out, 75 when man reached the moon; her four children Pietro, Luigi, Maria and Anna, innumerable grandchildren and great-grandchildren joined last Sunday for a Mass in her honor.

At Campo Valentino 17 centuries ago the people abandoned everything in a hurry, leaving lentils still cooking on the fire. The excavations brought to the light also remains of "industrial" buildings. Geomagnetic studies have revealed greater structures still hidden under the ground, and a project is being prepared to start an archaeological itinerary through the Aterno valley.

Luigi Di Felice, a Raiano resident born in Vittorito, in his 100 years fought in Two World Wars and has a "cavaliere di Vittorio Veneto", medal, worked as a farmer, a forest guard, a policeman, a railway worker, until in 1964 he retired. Congratulations from all over for his well-deserved birthday celebration.
