The present access to the Physics Laboratory is dangerous, and the only solution will be a third service tunnel. In Italy every year 7,000 people die in traffic accidents. The ministry hopes to enact stricter safety measures that will reduce mortality by 40%.

Avezzano - Inauguration of Don Orione's restored Institute and feast for the Blessed relic / Cittą in festa per don Orione / La reliquia del Beato accolta da una folla di fedeli e dal Consiglio comunale by Luigi Ricciardi
AVEZZANO - Don Orione is a great figure in the history of Marsica for all he did to help suffering people after the earthquake that hit the area on 13 january 1815. His heart, usually preserved in Rome, will be in the Suffragio sanctuary until December 5. Today the completely restored Don Orione's Institute will be inaugurated by vice-minister Marco Minniti. Representations from all over Abruzzo, the Vatican, bishops and mayors, the mother general of the Orionine Sisters, Maria Ortensia Turati, from Argentina etc.

Furci - Twinship with French city and delegation visit / Gemellaggio con Bondy - Delegazione francese in visita a Furci
A delegation from Bondy, a French center near Paris, visited Furci in the past few days. Led by mayor Roger Gilbert the French guests particularly appreciated the olive oil and the beaches. In January Furci mayor Filippo Cianciosi will be in France to exchange visits.

PRATOLA PELIGNA - Wounded peregrine falcon rescued / Falco pellegrino ferito salvato a Pratola Peligna
A municipality worker found yesterday a wounded peregrine falcon trapped in a bush. he tried to help him to fly but in vain. So he called the fire brigade who brought the bird to the Center for Rapacious Birds, Popoli. Now the falcon is in hospital in Pescara especially equipped for such cases.
