Conclusion this December for the theree courses in artistic craftwork organized by associations Arcobaleno and Informagiovani, Francavilla. The three courses were on Biedermeir Christmas decorations, the punto croce and lacework. An exhibition from 15 to 19 December for all artistic artisans.

VASTO - Tragedy while leaving for Sidney - By mistake jumps from the train /

Ulderico Iovannisci, 62, born in Villalfonsina and domiciled in San Buono, was going to visit relatives in Australia. While on the train to Milan on Saturday night, he opened the outer door, thinking it was the toilet and fell from the train. The victim was found hours later, hidden among the bushes near the railway. His nephew says he was an expert traveller and nobody can believe such a tragic absurd death.

A new road and a bridge over the Aventino river will at last reduce the distance between centres on the two sides of the river. A great conquest for all the students and workers commuting long distances. A possible future development also for tourism, with a faster route towards the Maiella resorts.

First meeting tomorrow within the 7th edition of Prize «Nuove Scrittrici», organized by Edizioni Tracce publishing house, Pescara and «Margaret Fuller» Cultural centre, to promote women's creativity. At 10.30 in Torre de' Passeri Brazilian poetess Marcia Theophilo wll meet the local students, in the presence of mayor Ada De Stefanis and the principals of the three schools of the place. Prize awards at the Muspac (museo sperimentale d'Arte contemporanea) l'Aquila, on Thursday.
