Lina Di Cesare is one of the four European winners od a Socrates project for a wishcard whose sale revenues will go to poor children; the other winners are from the UK, Ireland and Poland. The Socrates project is targeted to spread a culture of peace.

The first prize in last year's exhibition went to a stone crib by Franco Iezzi, who also created the Peace Monument that will be placed in Bethlehem on Christmas night.

For the 7th year now a crib with real-size statues has been made on the hill before small Santa Lucia delle Fratte by cultural association Santa Lucia. The crib was blessed yesterday by don Umberto Franchi, and this saturday young Maurizio De Sanctis, known as «padre Nike», will celebrate there an outdoor Mass.
